The startling originality of Berlioz blazes forth in his "Hungarian March", followed by Baltimore Symphony concertmaster Jonathan Carney's Amadeus debut in Sibelius's Violin Concerto. The concert and season conclude with an unsurpassed masterwork: Beethoven's mighty Fifth Symphony.

A pre-concert lecture by Music Director A. Scott Wood will begin at 3:15 pm, 45 minutes prior to the start of the concert.

A reception will follow the concert, at which attendees may meet and chat with the performers and fellow music lovers.
