When The Boxcars open their instrument cases and take to the stage, a joyful exposition of music performance ensues. The two-time IBMA Bluegrass Instrumental Band of the Year has achieved a level of musicianship that sets a high standard. Merging the power of traditional bluegrass with an updated and engaging style, their CD, Familiar With the Ground, captures these super-pickers': Keith Garrett, Adam Steffey, Ron Stewart, Harold Nixon, and Gary Hultman.
