This year Capital Harmonia is pleased to perform the music of Anne Frank: A Living Voice. The beautiful yet haunting lyrics are taken from the Diary of Anne Frank and the accompanying music was composed by Linda Tutas Haugen. Her music has been described as “music of character and genuine beauty” (Minneapolis Star and Tribune) and “superbly crafted, engaging, beautiful and often powerful” (Opera Today).

The Women’s Choral Festival occurs during Women’s History Month to honor the contributions of women by:

• Featuring music written by women composers about women
