The Office of Chairman Sharon Bulova wants to invite you to come by Evenings on the Ellipse after work. Thanks to our corporate sponsors, Evenings on the Ellipse is a free and family-friendly concert series we are able to hold each summer. Concerts take place in the back yard of the Fairfax County Government Center (or inside of the building, if the weather chooses not to cooperate). Audience members can bring chairs or blankets, enjoy fresh food from the Farmer's Market (which happens to be in the Fairfax County Government Center parking lot during concerts), taste wine from local vineyards, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. What better way is there to kick off the weekend?

The United States Navy's premier jazz ensemble has been performing for more than 40 years. This 18-member group continues the jazz/big-band legacy under the direction of Senior Chief Musician Philip Burlin with some of the finest musicians in the world.
