A three-hour discussion about the Fairfax family and the founding of Fairfax County.  We will also view rarely seen historical documents from the Fairfax Circuit Court Historic Records Center signed by the Fairfax family, George Washington, Martha Washington, and George Mason - all notable founders in our county.  Presentation by Jenee Lindner, M.A., President of the Friends of the Historic Fairfax Courthouse and a member of the 275th Fairfax County Planning Committee. Well known historian on northern Virginia, Lindner will also provide a review of the interaction between the George Washington and George Mason families including our diverse colonial founding communities in Fairfax County.
