The eminent Italian ensemble, the David Trio, lauded for its "daring yet refined interpretations" brings the warm sound of violin, cello, and piano to the intimate St. Francis chancel during their first American tour. The sardonic Shostakovich Op. 67 Trio is balanced by a gentle Schubert "Notturno" and the spirited energy of Haydn's A-flat major Trio.

A pre-concert lecture by Music Director A. Scott Wood will begin at 3:15 pm, 45 minutes prior to the start of the concert.

A reception will follow the concert, at which attendees may meet and chat with the performers and fellow music lovers.

Please note that this is a Saturday concert. Tickets are $30 and may be purchased at the door or online at  Students 17 and under and active military are admitted free of charge.
