Winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie brings the Roaring Twenties to life with a collection of snappy tunes and vibrant dance numbers bursting with flappers and tappers. Millie Dillmount arrives in New York City from Kansas with grand plans to marry the “modern” way – for money and not love – but instead finds herself on a madcap adventure that proves everything is not what it seems. Filled with frisky flappers, explosive tap numbers, and swinging music, this high-spirited musical romp is a delightful valentine to the long-standing spirit of New York City and the people who seek to discover themselves there.
