Dexstarity brings all of his experiences and all of the things he personally enjoys and puts it into the music. From getting "Geeked" at the function, to songs with serious undertones Dexstarity continuously strives to stay consistent while also experimenting creating a sound that not only has mainstream appeal but also has that counter culture feel.

DC native, Sketchy Pete brings bass a new flavor with original tracks and compiled mixes that combine hip hop and funk. He’s been inspired by music since a young age, being introduced to the school choir/band at the age of 10, and recently introducing saxophone from his productions into his live performances. His music career started like many others in a best friend’s basement where he developed a love for electronic music, gaining his name from skateboarding where he rarely landed clean tricks, "sketchy”. He is inspired by old school hip hop, new school Dubstep, and everything in between including Jurassic 5, A Tribe Called Quest, Black Star, Lupe Fiasco, Pre-Carter 3 Lil Wayne, Kanye West, J. DIlla, Najubes, Dr. Dre, Pretty Lights, Tipper, Rusko, Flamingosis, Gladkill, The Black Keys, Rage Against the Machine, and John Mayer. He is the illusive, imaginary and a little bit sketchy, Pete.
