Colvin Run Mill is an early 19th century wooden water wheel and operating gristmill. The miller’s house includes an exhibit about the process of milling and the families who operated the mill. An exhibit in the renovated 20th century dairy barn features the history of the Great Falls community around the mill. Bring your family, friends or a whole group and explore the beautifully wooded and landscaped grounds. Have a picnic, shop at the general store for stone-ground cornmeal, wheat flour and grits, "penny" candy, toys, books, jewelry, snacks and drinks. Take a short stroll on the nature trail or a longer hike on the nearby Cross County or Rails to River trails. February through December, enjoy special programs including live music, craft demonstrations, ice cream making, seasonal activities and summer camp. Guided tours are offered six days a week throughout the year.
