Sports organizers using Visit Fairfax's services have been extremely satisfied. The testimonials below demonstrate some of the ways in which we can help make your event a huge success!

Event: 2015 World Police and Fire Games
"I would like to express my thanks to Visit Fairfax for coordinating the three-day site inspection for the right to host the 2015 World Police and Fire Games. You've put us in an excellent position to secure this multi-sport event, which would attract more than 20,000 visitors to our region.

Your assistance with hotel and dining arrangements, collateral development, and VIP event management was invaluable. So was your outstanding presentation about Fairfax County and the wonderful tourism assets the Northern Virginia area has to offer. Just as important, you made the members of the site inspection team feel right at home with your wonderful hospitality. We simply could not have pulled off such a successful site inspection without Visit Fairfax's help."

Event: USA Hockey National Championships (U12 Division)
"Kudos to Visit Fairfax for helping the Reston Raiders land the highly coveted 2010 USA Hockey National Championships (U12 division). From day one, you were fully engaged in this bid effort...providing tourism information, collecting hotel bids, and writing a letter of support for our initial proposal. Then, after USA Hockey narrowed its choices down to Fairfax County and two other strong contenders, Eric Kulczycky [Visit Fairfax's sports marketing manager] provided strong support during the final site inspection with his color commentary and insights about the county. We were humbled when the USA Hockey site inspector said it was one of the best inspections he'd ever experienced!

Due to the success of this tournament, we're now in the process of planning other events, including the U-16 National Championships. Visit Fairfax also continues to play an integral role on our Local Organizing Committee, and will without a doubt help make the experience for players and spectators alike a memorable one."

Event: The LawFit Challenge
"Since 2007, Visit Fairfax has helped me secure a host hotel for the LawFit Challenge, an annual event that motivates law enforcement officers to maintain a high level of fitness and health. The CVB is a one-stop shop that quickly collects hotel bids and arranges site inspections so I can maximize the resources of my limited staff. Because hotels are competing for our business, we've been able to offer lower rates for our competitors, who are public safety officers trying to stretch their dollars. I highly recommend Visit Fairfax to any sports planner interested in finding hotels for their sports event or meeting."
