Extended Stay Program

Just because your event is over, it doesn't mean the trip has to be!  Enhance your event with extended stay options for attendees.  With shopping, sights, and more, Fairfax County is a destination made for extending your stay past the meeting or event dates – to a weekend or a full-fledged family vacation. Once you let attendees in on what the area has to offer, odds are your attendee numbers will increase.

To help you set the stage and sell your meeting our Director of Visitor Services, Sue Porter, is ready to help.  You can email Sue if you have any questions, or to get her assistance for things like:

  • If your group is large enough, we can create a customized landing page on our website created especially for them which welcomes to the area and describes the multitude of attractions, restaurants, shops and events awaiting them if they stay.
  • We’ll create a graphic like the one below for your meeting home page encouraging an extended stay in the County.
