Join us online for an e-vening like no other with A Celebration of ARTS by George! on Saturday, September 26. Streamed live on social media and GMU-TV, the event will take a look back at the tremendous success of ARTS by George! over the past 14 years. Since 2006, ARTS by George! has ensured more than $1 million in scholarship and program support for Mason’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. Hear from alumni scholarship recipients making their mark in creative industries around the world, see content from performances and exhibitions, and meet current student artists, who continue to thrive despite major financial and artistic challenges due to COVID-19. The evening culminates with a call to support the arts at Mason and an announcement revealing the 15th annual ARTS by George! headliner for the September 2021 event at the Center for the Arts. The annual ARTS by George! benefit raises support for student scholarships in visual arts, dance, music, theater, computer game design, film, and arts management, as well as for the Mason Community Arts Academy, the Green Machine Ensembles, and the Great Performances at Mason series.
