Fearless craftsmen and crews will once again take to the water at Lake Accotink Park on Sunday, June 2, 2019, for the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. Discover who will sink and who will float to victory in this traditional Springfield Days event.

 All ages are welcome to this one-of-a-kind spectacle of epic cardboard creations. Cheer courageous crews on to victory or make this the year you race for glory through the waters of Lake Accotink. On race day, you also can enjoy a ride on the carousel, play a round of mini-golf or indulge at the food trucks that will be open all day. Admission to watch the race is free. There is a $5 per car parking fee.

Judging begins at 9 a.m. The racing starts at 11 a.m.

There is a nominal fee to enter a boat in the contest.
