On Saturday, June 13, Gunston Hall will hold its Annual Declaration Day Celebration. The event commemorates the establishment of American rights such as freedom of the press and freedom of religion. Declaration Day marks the anniversary of the Virginia Declaration of Rights, drafted by founding father George Mason in 1776.

During this family-friendly day, guests may tour the 1750s Mansion, celebrate with birthday cake, and so much more. Have you seen Gunston Hall's newest exhibition, “Revolutionary Rights” yet? Now is your chance! Celebrate this day of family-friendly activities and explore the grounds of Gunston Hall free of charge.

This event is presented in partnership with The NSCDA, District of Columbia Society.
