Experience an interactive museum theater performance that explores George Mason’s legacy form the perspective of Mason himself, his son George, and Nell, a person they kept enslaved.

This immersive theater experience seeks to better understand the lives of those who lived at Gunston Hall during George Mason’s lifetime, particularly those who were enslaved by the Mason family. Performances will take place throughout the day at 10:45 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:45 PM, and 3:15 PM. 

Admission to the theater performance is included with general admission, purchase your tickets online in advance online at or at the door. General admission includes a tour and access to the mansion, outbuildings, activities, and grounds: Adults: $10, Seniors & Military: $8, Children (6 – 18): $5, Under 6: FREE, FREE for active-duty military and their families (Blue Star Museum Program), FREE for individuals and families who present their SNAP EBT Card (Museums for All Program), FREE for members of Gunston Hall.
