During the colonial period, Pohick Church was the congregation of many of our country's most prominent families, including the Washingtons, Masons and Fairfaxes. The Historic Pohick Church Docent Guild will give free guided tours of the historic colonial church on the first Saturday of every month between 1:00–3:00 p.m. Our Golden Dove Colonial Giftshop, located in the historic Vestry House, will also be open during tour hours. Pohick Church is located at 9301 Richmond Highway in Lorton, at the corner of U.S. 1 & Telegraph Road, close to Mount Vernon and Gunston Hall.
