Ann Millard and her daughter, Elena Botts, will each display their unique artistic endeavors as they exhibit together for the first time. Ann’s acrylic mixed media work is colorful and abstract; Elena’s portraiture is surrealistic and organic. Anne’ s exhibit relates to nature – abstract works of caves and canyons, sea souvenir collages and paintings inspired by trips to Florida and Puerto Rico, and renditions of Holstein cows on an island. Elena ‘s portraits attempt to “capture the defining characteristics of individuals” while exploring the “inherent, yet transient, nature of identity.” Join them on Sunday, June 9 for an opening reception.
Opening Reception: Sunday, June 9, 2019, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
