Parent & Me: Mother's Day Dress Cake Decorating Class

Join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, competitor on Food Networks The Wedding Cake Championship, for this Mother's Day cake decorating class.

Each parent and child team will receive a crumb-coated, 2-layered, 6-inch cake.  Parent and Child teams will learn how to decorate a two-layered cake using buttercream and learn cake piping techniques. In addition, the teams will learn how to tint buttercream and make fondant accessories. Chef Dawn will also share additional tips and cake decorating techniques while the teams are building their beautiful and fashionable cake to celebrate Mother's Day!

Appropriate for children aged 7-15 years old.

All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the workshop only. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class.
