Tom Russell’s upcoming album of original material, “October in the Railroad Earth,” will be released on March 15th, 2019, through Frontera Records in North America and Proper Records worldwide. Available for pre-order now in CD format through fronterarecords.com, downloads through iTunes and other select digital platforms, and on vinyl through Proper. The album features Bill Kirchen on lead guitar and includes 10 original compositions and a cover of the traditional song, “Wreck of the Old 97.” Tom describes the songs and sound as “Jack Kerouac meets Johnny Cash in Bakersfield.”
