District BBQ is the first social enterprise barbecue brand in America. Founded by two brothers born and raised in Kansas City, now living in the Washington, DC Metro, our mission is to use food to empower humanity by donating a portion of our profits to charitable causes.
Our barbecue is inspired by a long lineage of legends like Arthur Bryant’s, Gates, Jack Stack and other Kansas City Legends. Always dry-rubbed and wood-smoked, our meats, burnt ends, ribs and chicken have just the right amount of bite, with a sweet and savory ending.
Armed service members including police, military and firefighters always receive 10% off and when in-uniform and on-duty during the weekdays, we take pride in providing half-off their meals. Our community commitment extends even further, as 10% of our profits are used to advance economic opportunity for low-income families. We take pride in the communities where we serve, and are proud to sponsor local school events, ball teams and community based activities.
