OPENING March 6th! As one of the nation’s oldest theater chains, with over 110 years of experience in the movie industry, Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatres continues to be a trailblazer and influencer in the moviegoing experience by expanding their footprint with the opening of its 7th ShowPlace ICON Theatre location in Tysons, Virginia. The superior state-of-the-art cinema is located at The Boro, the newest premier, multi-phase development in the heart of Tysons, directly across from the Whole Foods.

Spanning over 72,000 square feet, ShowPlace ICON features 14 spacious auditoriums with seating for 1,795 guests. Auditoriums range from the 226 seated VIP•ICONX Dolby® ATMOS™ premium large format rooms to the more intimate 45-seat auditorium.

Distinctly sophisticated, Showplace ICON Theatres’ unique approach to seating and ticketing allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the movie-watching experience. Guests of all ages require tickets, and infants (age two and under) will be ticketed at adult prices. Before 8:00 pm daily, guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to all G, PG and PG-13 films. Guests under 18 years old are not allowed in any R rated film. After 8:00 pm, guests under 18 are only permitted to G and PG films with a parent or guardian. Guests need not worry about any disruptions during the movie, as Showplace ICON will cease seating an auditorium when the feature begins.
