We were right next to one of the restroom/bath houses; important for when you wake up at night and have to go! We also tried different flavors of the crickets that are sold in the campground store; everyone said they tasted like sunflower seeds. There's a limit of 2 cars per campsite and they have an overflow lot for any other vehicles. The grill and the table for each campsite are great, and so is the electricity hookup. We had a small oscillating heater inside our tent to keep warm at night (it was early November). If you forget anything, there's a Food Lion grocery store 10-15 minutes away, and a Walmart isn't that far either. Thus you have conveniences close by, but camping in a rural woods setting - love it!

Disc golf course is a little more open now after a few trees had to be taken down due to a storm. Beginner friendly and a great place to learn. Be ready to hit some trees!

Lovely trail system so you can piece together any length. Great for hiking and fairly non-technical trail running. Some hills, but just enough to get your heart going and make you feel alive. We'll be back for sure.
