Fairfax County Parks offer visitors and travelers a chance to see nature like never before, with an incredible natural landscape and views for all to enjoy. Northern Virginia parks are perfect for both the active and leisure traveler, as well as for families of all sizes.
Try hitting the waters by renting a canoe or kayak at one of the several boat rental shops. Sleep under the stars or by a warm campfire at one of the local camping sites. Hike, bike, or horseback ride on one of the nature trails and get a glimpse of the all the lively wildlife. Take part in history and visit Freedom Hill Park, which was part of the original Defenses of Washington. Visit one of the two National Parks in Fairfax County, including the NPS managed Great Falls Park where you'll witness the mighty power of the falls.
