Visit Fairfax is proud to recognize Melissa McClure, our Destination Sales Manager for Domestic/International Packaged Tours, for her recent Certified Student Travel Professional designation at the Student Youth Travel Association Annual Conference.
The Certified Student Travel Professional (CSTP) designation adds an additional level of professionalism in the student and youth travel industry. It is also intended to raise the awareness of student travel as a unique business segment.
The Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA) is the non-profit, professional trade association that promotes student & youth travel and seeks to foster integrity and professionalism among student and youth travel service providers. SYTA is “The Voice of Student and Youth Travel.®”
Melissa McClure has been with Visit Fairfax for about three years and was previously recognized as one of Destinations International (formerly DMAI)'s "30 Under 30" Class of 2016. She also holds a CTIS (Certified Travel Industry Specialist) designation by American Bus Association and is on the board of National Travel Association's Young Professionals Advisory Committee.
