Imagine dining in an exciting seaside beach town. Too good to be true? Not at Coastal Flats, where a coastal experience awaits, right in the middle of Fairfax. The "buzz" is 1950s coastal-Florida inspired -- casual and comfortable. With its polished terrazzo floors and warm booths, Coastal Flats is a throwback to another era. The menu follows the Gulf Stream from Florida to the Carolina low-country, up to the New England shore. But it doesn’t stop there. Expect some unexpected twists with Hong Kong Sea Bass, Jambalaya Egg Rolls, Shrimp Fritters, Key Lime Chicken, Black Angus Beef, the best burger in town, and Lobster Bisque, Crab and Corn Chowder, and Coastal Flats’ soon-to-be famous Lobster Roll and Crab Cakes.
