A charming French country inn, L’Auberge Chez Francois features Alsatian cuisine and old world charm. Chef de cuisine Jacques Haeringer now mans the helm of this Washington D.C. legend, established decades ago by his father, Francois Haeringer. French classics like frog’s legs and chateaubriand can be found here, along with a few modern twists. Rack of lamb and fresh rainbow trout are also among wise choices, and diners would be remiss to leave without sampling the delightful plum tart, one of L’Auberge Chez Francois’s signature creations. Consistently named on OpenTable's list of Top 100 Restaurants in America.
