The Pentagon Memorial was created to remember and honor those family members and friends who are no longer with us because of the events of September 11th, 2001 at the Pentagon. The Pentagon Memorial is open 24 hours a day, Monday – Sunday. Photography is strictly prohibited everywhere on the Pentagon Reservation except for inside the Memorial. All other activities that are prohibited on the Pentagon Reservation are also prohibited inside the Pentagon Memorial Park. Public parking is not available at the Pentagon. Visitors may opt to park at the Pentagon City Mall. No shuttle service is provided to or from the Pentagon. The Pentagon is less than a five-minute walk from the mall and can be reached through a pedestrian tunnel. Once through the tunnel, look for signs to the Metro entrance. Visit the memorial website for more visitor information.
