New for 2026!
Kick those winter blues away with this first sweet, sweet taste of summer. Wolf Trap has announced a jam-packed season lineup at the famed Filene Center for Summer 2026, including special shows celebrating America's 250th Anniversary and a star-studded show honoring John Prine.
There are unforgettable summer nights planned with superstars like Sting, Melissa Etheridge, Wynonna Judd, Tori Amos, Chicago’s hip-hop guru Chance the Rapper, plus opera, family-friendly shows, films-in-concerts, and so many more coming your way in the summer of 2026.
Here’s a sampling of what’s to come this summer at America’s only National Park for the Performing Arts (learn about its unique history here). Tickets go on sale February 27 at 10 am. Plus, stay tuned in the coming months for even more show announcements.

America's 250th & John Prine Celebration

Wolf Trap will be celebrating the 250th Anniversary of America this year by showcasing the music and artists that have shaped the nation’s rich cultural tapestry. There will also be opportunities to attend pre-concert discussions and on-site activations. Plus, don't miss a one-night-only special event celebrating famed American singer/songwriter and 19-time Wolf Trap veteran John Prine, featuring 10 songwriters who will perform beloved John Prine songs, as well as songs he inspired or loved.

RIVERDANCE30

Leading into the Fourth of July week, guests will find themselves mesmerized at five performances of Riverdance during its 30th anniversary tour which celebrates the next generation of Irish dancing talent. While maintaining the beloved original show's heart, this new tour includes new choreography, a Grammy Award-winning soundtrack, and completely reimagined lighting and projections.

Opera, Film & Family Favorites

Wolf Trap Opera returns to the Filene Center stage. Plus, kids AND adults will be raptured at classic film favorites as the National Symphony Orchestra performs the film score live.
