8:00 am — 5K Walk/Run — Great Falls Freedom Memorial
The Great Falls Trailblazers are bringing the Annual 5K Walk/Run to our local trails. Join us at the Freedom Memorial on the Library grounds. The race begins promptly at 8:00 am. Please see the registration site for the route map details. Registration is now open online. Runners may also register the day of the race, prior to 8:00 am.

 

8:00 am to 2:00 pm — INOVA Blood Drive — Great Falls Volunteer Fire Department
The Great Save Lives, Give Blood. To register, call 1-866-BLOODSAVES. You must be 16 years old or older with a valid ID, weigh 110 lbs, and be in good health to donate. Walk-ins are accepted if there are open, unfilled slots available. Allow 1 hour for your visit. See you there!

 

9:00 am — Little Patriot Parade — Village Centre Green (at the Gazebo)
Babies and Toddlers up to age 5 are welcome to parade their finest patriotic display around the Green. Awards for “Young George Washington,” Little Miss Betsy Ross,” and “The Star Spangled Family”. along with many others!

10:00 am — Main Parade — Great Falls Village Centre
See the fire trucks, floats, horses, antique cars and more making a loop in the Main Parade. Be sure to spot the winning floats for Best Neighborhood, Best Business and Best Organization!

Starts on Columbine Road & proceeds around the Village Centre Green

 

10:30 am to 2:00 pm — Festivities, Food & Fun — Village Centre Green
After the parade, enjoy lemonade, pizza, snow-cones, and other treats, along with music, games, and festivities on the Village Centre Green with your Great Falls neighbors. There will be a special performance by local magician, The Great Zucchini, starting at 12:30pm, along with cool new Hometown Celebration merchandise for sale this year!

 

6:00 pm – Fireworks & Fun – Turner Farm Park
Pack up the family and come tailgate with your neighbors at Turner Farm Park. Gates open at 6:00 pm. Live music, games, contests and food trucks will entertain until the Big Show gets underway just after dusk.
