Welcome to the Tysons Area of Fairfax County
Tysons is the urban center of Fairfax County, has countless things to do, and has undergone a magnificent transformation over the past decade in becoming "America's Next Great City." Tysons started as a small and unassuming rural crossroads and has exponentially grown to become a business and entertainment hub that includes booming commercial development, office space and living space. Tysons' newest go-to entertainment venue is Capital One Hall - showcasing amazing musical performances and theatre productions year-round. The Capital One complex is also home to The Perch - a "park in the sky" situated high above Tysons with mini-golf, a brewery, ampitheatre, and ongoing events and festivities.
Tysons has some of the best shopping found anywhere on the East Coast of the U.S. which makes it popular for both domestic and international visitors. You'll also find an abundance of dining options, and an excellent assortment of hotels. All this, plus easy access to the best attractions in Fairfax County and the rest of the Capital Region via road or Metrorail makes Tysons a popular place when visiting Northern Virginia.
